Multiplayer

Eight modes, one trigger finger

Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Hardpoint, Rift Surge, Search & Destroy, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Gun Game. Quick Match, or host with a code and bring your party.

Riftfall

Squad battle royale

Drop onto Highcrest island in solos, duos, trios or squads. Loot up, grapple across rooftops and outlast up to eight squads.

Zombies

How long can you last?

Round after round on Dead Heights. Buy guns off the walls, open the town, find the power and Pack-a-Punch your way past round 30.

Built to feel right

Every shot lands with weight

Grapple & slide

Hook onto a ledge, swing across a gap, slide into cover. The map is as big as your nerve.

Bullets go through

Thin walls, doors and crates don't stop a round. Know where they're hiding and shoot through it.

Hear them coming

Footsteps sound like the floor they're on and come from where they are. Shots behind walls come through muffled.

Guns with weight

Hand-posed grips, sway as you turn, kick on every shot, and shell casings that bounce off the floor.

Kill cam & ragdolls

See the last two seconds from your killer's eyes. Everyone who drops falls under their own weight.

Make it yours

Create-a-Class, scorestreaks, mastery camos up to Diamond, a Battle Pass and a Store full of gear.

Zombies · Dead Heights

The town fell.
You didn't. Yet.

A huge zombified town across eight zones. Every hit earns points: spend them on wall guns, doors, the mystery box and perk machines once the power's on.

Questions

FAQ

Is Riftline free?

Yes. Download the launcher, install, play.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC". Is that OK?

The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns about it. Click More info, then Run anyway. If your browser asks whether to keep the download, choose Keep.

How do I uninstall?

Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Riftline Launcher > Uninstall. To remove the game itself first, use Uninstall in the launcher's Settings. Your progress is kept either way.

Do I need to be online?

Only to install, update and play online. Zombies, Riftfall against bots and custom games with bots all work offline, and the launcher plays the installed version when it can't reach the update server.

How do I play with friends?

Multiplayer > Party: share your party code and everyone follows the leader into matches. Or Private Match: host a room and send the code.

Where are my saves? Do they survive an uninstall?

Progress, classes and settings live in %APPDATA%\Riftline, not in the game folder, so uninstalling or moving the game keeps them. Launcher > Settings > Saves opens the folder.

Something's broken after an update.

Launcher > Settings > Verify game files checks every file and replaces anything damaged or missing.

Does it work with a controller?

Yes, with aim assist and vibration. Both are in Settings > Controls in the game.
